Beco's design inspiration comes from a variety of sources. Two separate design staffs collaborate on current projects as well as forecasting developing concepts for the future. The staff researches the world markets via trade shows, forecasting services, publications and store visits. Many suppliers visit Beco from all areas of the textile industry including apparel, upholstery and industrial. Our experienced in house designers are responsible for technical textile development, graphic arts, computer illustration and fashion merchandising. Each designer is equipped with state of the art computer software programs providing the latest in design and color reproduction accuracy. The design staff works closely with the sales and marketing group as well as with our retail partners.
Beco's Global Sourcing Network gives the company many advantages in utilizing innovative fabrics as well as significant cost advantages. Beco currently has sourcing relationships with quality assured mills in China, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Spain, Indonesia as well as other countries currently being developed. We have established a Far East office in China to develop future projects as well as monitor our interests in the rapidly expanding global marketplace. Beco's unique competencies in design and sourcing as well as our manufacturing capabilities give the company the ability to optimize many customer specific product demands. The company's size and scale enable it to be fast and responsive while the economies of scale provide exceptional value for our customer.
